Slick is an unknown age, but we’re guessing a little older- around 3 years. He was found in downtown KCK and obtained his namesake due to him being so difficult so catch.
Slicks litter box skills are almost impeccable. He does love to dramatically flop next to you and hang out in the living room while you watch TV with him. He’ll jump up on the couch and act like he wants love, but he’s still a little shy and will run if you try to pet him on his face/ears. As a result, he definitely doesn’t like to be held. But seems to tolerate back rubs better than anything.
Slick will definitely need someone who will understand that gaining his full trust will take time and patience, but we fully believe he can eventually get to a point where he loves to be petted. If you are interested in Slick, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society of Kansas City.
