Winnie

My name is Winnie. In 2013 someone decided they didn’t want me anymore and put me inside a cat carrier and threw me in the dumpster. Lucky for me, the sanitation workers found me and took me to the shelter where my mom was volunteering. She took me home and my family have given me a really good life.  A few weeks into my new arrangement my mom realized she was allergic to me but they kept me anyway. I have the entire level because my mom can’t get too close and over the years our family has worked out a routine to keep Mom healthy along with keeping me happy.  In January they had another baby and that baby is also having difficulties around me. They’ve cried and cried but decided it’s time that I go to a new home so I can be around all the family. I have a big rabbit house that I live in and we even put a Christmas star on it for the holidays. I’m litter box trained and stay nice and clean. I love having my ears rubbed right at the temple and my fur is so soft. I live with four dogs who i enjoy interacting with through the chicken wire of my house. I push rabbit pellets to them so they can have a snack. I am sort of slow to warm up to people but once I’m comfortable in my surroundings I enjoy watching people and hopping around the room.  I am not a snuggler but enjoy your company and will sit next to you on the couch. Mom doesn’t know how old I am but she said it never mattered. I sure hope you might have a spot for me at your house.
