Smokey-ADOPTED

A wonderful lady in Oklahoma rescued Smokey from a young girl who bought him not knowing anything about rabbit care. She did not know age or sex. and was keeping them in a cardboard box with pine shavings in it. She had said she didn’t have a permanent address and was going to have to give them away unless she could find a free cage for them.  After being rescued, Smokey had to have many matts removed and pine shavings were intertwined and stuck all over in his fur.  Smokey was SO THIRSTY after being rescued, and was thrilled to get to drink out of a bowl for the first time (previously he had a tiny little water bottle–we do NOT recommend water bottles please).  He is a very friendly, energetic little boy who loves to binky and play.  We think Smokey is 3-4 months old, and will be neutered soon  He enjoys being held for short periods of time, and loves to be petted.  He is very high energy and will need a nice room in which to explore and exercise.  If you would like to adopt Smokey, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society in Kansas City.
