Missy – ADOPTED

Missy was found at a garage sale in not so great shape. Super long nails, matted fur and was free for the taking. She was rescued by some wonderful people who brought her home as they were concerned about where she might end up. She does GREAT with adults but was kept in a SMALL cage and is not great with kiddos. She is great with dogs and unknown to cats. She has been working on her litter skills and has come a long way in the short time after being rescued. She is a digger and will dig a whole in the carpet so she’s in an ex-pen with an outdoor rug. She likes to free roam but needs to be watched at all times.  We expect after she’s spayed some of these destructive habits will disappear. She will be great with someone who has the knowledge to teach her proper skills. She seems to really like females but scared of human males. She is great with nail trims and likes to get to know you on HER terms! She loves her Timothy Hay, and any treats! She is not to great at eating her pellets!  She really is a sweet girl but will need some time before she feels secure.  Love, patience and understanding will go a long way.  She has had a recent vet check and other then being under weight (3lbs) and will be spayed prior to adoption.  If you would like to adopt Missy, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society in Kansas City.
