Elton is a neutered male Lionhead bunny.  We think he’s about nine months old which is a guesstimate.  He was found on a trail near Grandview.  He’s a sweet little thing weighing four pounds.  He loves being petted on his head and will hop up in your lap and sit with you as long as you are petting him.  Being picked up is not Elton’s favorite activity, but he deals with it as long as he feels secure.  He is very inquisitive and will sniff and climb around on you.  He has good litter skills and is a good eater – pellets, timothy hay, green leaf, cilantro, parsley and he enjoys carrot, blueberries and dried herbs as treats.  He is not free roam in his foster home but he has not been seen to chew on things.  Elton is really soft and he wags his tail very quickly when he’s excited.  He is very interested in everything going on around him and will try to get the attention of anyone walking near him.  Elton would do well having a spayed female as a companion.  If you would like to adopt Elton, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society in Kansas City.
