Curie

Curie is a darling little 3.2 lb Holland Lop girl who absolutely LOVES to be petted but really doesn’t like to be picked up (most rabbits hate this because they feel trapped).  She enjoys attention from her human caretaker and if your hand is anywhere near her, she believes it is your duty to pet her at all times.  She loves a variety of foods:  parsley, dill, strawberries, green and red leaf lettuce, kale, romaine lettuce, radicchio, carrots and carrot tops, endive, escarole, cilantro, wheatgrass, boy chow, apples, blueberries, and blackberries.   Curie prefers Orchard Grass (doesn’t like Timothy hay), and enjoys alfalfa as a treat hay only.  She is litter trained as long as you use Yesterday’s News.

Curie does have a heart murmur, which we are hoping can be improved with hawthorn tincture.  She is not spayed and will not be spayed unless the vet clears her for surgery due to her heart murmur.  She was diagnosed and treated at K-State Veterinary Hospital.  Curie does like dogs, and would most likely love to have a bunny friend IF she can be spayed.
