Blackberry is very smart and energetic. He is very independent, but enjoys playing with cats. He is dominate with cats, but he seems to enjoy their company.  Blackberry will solicit attention and enjoys being petted, but you need to watch his cues for when he’s had enough. He does get destructive (chewing) when he is bored, so he needs lots of toys and boxes and Busy Bunny items to keep him entertained. Otherwise Blackberry keeps his space very clean and he is litter-box trained. Blackberry hasn’t had an easy life.  He is currently at another shelter and has been adopted out several times and returned because the people who adopted him had no idea on how to care for a rabbit.  MOHRS will be doing all the screening for his adoption, and we hope someone with rabbit experience will fall in love and proved him a forever home.
