Winston is a 4 year old neutered male Rex bunny who is looking for a different forever home. The people who adopted him discovered they were allergic to him.  They tried switching hay because sometimes it’s the hay people are allergic to and tried medications for themselves but to no avail, they still had allergic reactions to him.  So they were very sad when they had to send him back to us.  Winston is full of personality and loves to explore. He also loves treats and snacks as often as he can get a human to dole one out. He is cautious about humans, and may take awhile to warm up to someone. He does not like to be picked up (most bunnies don’t–they feel trapped) but he enjoys having his ears petted. Winston would be OK with older children who might not move as fast and be as noisy, since he does enjoy his peace and quiet (a lot of noise stresses him out). He also feels threatened by other small animals such as cats and dogs and possibly other bunnies. Winston loves toys and playing in his tunnel, and likes to hop up on things. His litter skills are fairly good and he needs a home where he can be free roam most of the time. Winston’s favorite foods are: cilantro, kale, spinach and carrots. He eats celery, broccoli, radishes, and most common rabbit veggies. He also likes the occasional strawberry, pepper or raspberry.
