Mala is sweet but shy mini-rex spayed female bunny, approximately 2 years old who was rescued from a horrific abuse situation.  Mala was a breeder rabbit, kept in deplorable conditions, denied any social contact with humans, and at times, barely given enough to eat and drink.  She will take awhile to warm up to a new human, but will accept small, gentle pets on her head.  She loves to play with her toys, and has excellent litter habits.  She is afraid if she is cornered, so it is best to approach her so she doesn’t feel threatened.  She has the potential to really blossom with the right person, who will respect her and understand her and the abuse she was forced to endure.  If you would like to adopt Mala, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society in Kansas City.
