Jackie was taken in by a shelter up in northern Missouri after being dumped outside to fend for himself.  Not only is dumping any animal against the law, it is the equivalent of setting a 2 yr old human on the street and telling them to “watch for cars”.  Thankfully, a caring person saw the bunny, but sadly, witnessed a child chase him and pick him up by the ears, swinging him around (!!!) before they could pick him up.  As most everyone knows, you NEVER pick up a rabbit by their ears, and scruffing them isn’t good either.   Even though his past experiences with humans hasn’t been good, this bunny is super sweet.  He loves to be petted and is totally litter trained.  We think he may be around 2 years old, but can’t be totally sure.  If you’d like to adopt Jackie (Jack) please contact the MO House Rabbit Society.
