Frankie-ADOPTED
Frankie is a neutered male cross between a Lionhead and an Angora and is super sweet and adorable. Frankie is a little over a year old and came to us from a loving mom who had COPD and allergies, both of which were exacerbated by Frankie’s hair. He doesn’t shed as much as some rabbits, but he does have long hair which requires regular combing to avoid mats. Frankie doesn’t mind being picked up, and he will sit happily in your lap like a small lap dog as long as you keep petting his head and ears. He is very entertaining to watch, as he does lots of zoomies, binkies and flops. He is also very curious and fearless about a large dog, whom he gets along with well, at his current foster home. He is used to being free roam, so he would not be happy being kept in a small pen all the time. He has pretty good litter skills – he will consistently use a litter box to pee in, and poops in or around his box, so if you keep a large mat under his litter box it works fine. (Compressed pine pellets work best for his litter, as compressed paper or wood shavings get caught in his hair. ) He loves dill, cilantro and different lettuces, as well as the occasional banana or strawberry. Frankie has been neutered and would do well either as an only rabbit, or with a sweet, spayed female friend. Oh, and he has the softest nose you could ever imagine! Frankie would make a wonderful husbun for a sweet spayed female. If you would like to adopt Frankie, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society in Kansas City.
