Davey Hasselhop-adopted!
Davey Hasselhop was cruelly dumped on the street by someone who obviously doesn’t care about him. Thankfully, a good Samaritan found him before he was hit by a car or eaten by a predator, and rescued him. Unfortunately, the lady who rescued him couldn’t keep him as their cat and dog were trying to harm Davey. So they contacted MOHRS asking for help. Davey was dumped in the Ozarks, but the family who rescued him cared so much about him that they asked their mom (who lives in KC) to help with transporting him to MOHRS.
Davey is a super friendly guy who loves to explore. He loves kale and other veggies, lots of Timothy hay and is really enjoying his pellets. We don’t know how long he was on his own, but he certainly has a good appetite now that he’s safe. He’s not especially fond of being picked up, but once you have him, he will relax. Davey has been neutered by MOHRS. If you’d like to meet Davey and consider giving him a good home, please contact the MO House Rabbit Society in Kansas City.
