Murphie is an entertaining, inquisitive young boy. He was born Aug 2016. His black fur is highlighted with beautiful flecks of gray and white. He was part of a large group of bunnies born in a horse stall. Murphie loves playing and chewing sticks, baskets and boxes before settling down to eat a good salad. He loves to explore and will binky in place when out of his pen, then zoom around the room. He has great litter box habits and comes to the pen door to be petted and see what you’re doing. He enjoys being petted, but he does not like to be held. Murphie does well with dogs but needs supervision like all rabbits when around dogs. He has not found a female bunny partner yet, but we’re hopeful he’ll find the right one as he matures.  Murphie was adopted out in 2017 but sadly, is being returned by the person who adopted him.  She supposedly developed allergies.  If you are interested in meeting Murphie, please contact Missouri House Rabbit Society-KC.
