Cali & Luna
Luna is the Dutch male rabbit and Cali is a Californian female rabbit. Luna is around 6-8 months old, outgoing, curious and very motivated by food. He has been enjoying being petted between his ears and around his chin and cheeks. He hops on his human foster mom or puts his front feet on her and sniffs her often. He seems pretty unphased by his foster mom’s energetic and excitable niece. He explores. He has been easy to pick up and transfer to exercise and transport but can get a bit squirmy if picked up too much. The vet said he is in great condition and was clearly loved and handled at some point. Cali is a little on the shy side and tends to be reserved and hang back. The owner said she is 6-8 months old. She likes very soft pets around her ears and on her head. She doesn’t care for a lot of quick movement and while Cali was fine with her foster mom’s niece petting her, it was only for brief moments then she wanted to go back to her safe spot. She was very easy to handle and once in her foster mom’s arms she will freely sniff her face, neck and ears. She is sweet and likes treats but doesn’t seem as food motivated as Luna. She is in great shape and really easy for the vet and she said she could tell she had been loved and handled at some point.
Luna & Cali are a bonded pair and will be adopted together. If you are interested in this pair please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society of Kansas City.
