Saylor & Benji–Adopted
Saylor (black and white spayed female) and Benji (brown and white neutered male) are Holland lop siblings, about 2 years old. They are litter trained and extremely devoted to each other and do not like to be separated. They are a bit skittish when humans move too quickly, so they probably wouldn’t be comfortable around small children. They love to run around the house, and as long as they have toys, plenty of hay/water, and a nice bunny proofed area in which to play, they are great. They have been around a dog (totally controlled introduction) and were curious about the dog. However, the dog was kept away from them because the dog wanted to hunt the bunnies. Their favorite foods are mint, parsley, kale, banana, and leaf lettuce. They would love to be adopted by someone who will allow them to free-roam most of the time, perhaps going into a pen enclosure at night. The two teenagers who were caring for them are now too busy to continue to care for the pair (as is the case with most teens). If you would like to adopt this darling pair, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society in Kansas City.
