We think Sam is approximately 7 months old, and weighs about 3 lbs.  He is from a large rescue that took place in Jefferson County in KS where over 100 animals were badly neglected.  The rabbits were kept in tiny, shoebox size cages.  They couldn’t even turn around and there was 6″ or more of feces in each cage.  No food/water was available.  So Sam came from a horrible situation and is looking forward to a safe and caring forever home where he will never have to worry about food and water and a clean area in which to live.  Sam is shy but will let you pet him for a long time, and doesn’t mind being held for short periods of time.  We are including a picture of what these rabbits endured.  Rest assured they are now safe in foster care.  If you are interested in giving Sam a special forever home, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society in Kansas City.
