Nelson was found outside in a cage with another bunny at a house where the people had already moved away. Despite the sadness of that situation, he is quite a character.  He likes to zoom back and forth in his large pen and do binkies.  When you walk past his pen he will run a long side of you just in case you have a treat that you would like to give him.  He will stretch out with his paws to the top of the pen to beg for treats.  He is a Himalayan breed and a fairly big boy at 7 lbs.  He is fairly young, maybe 8-9 months.  When he came to us his  ears, nose and feet were very light colored.  As a Himalayan ages the color darkens to a beautiful dark brown.  Cardboard and willow sticks are his favorites to chew on.
